Freedom No Pull Harness Recommended Fit

Since a dog's weight fluctuates just like a human's and they tend to gain or lose fat around the midsection, the harness straps should have the ability to tighten or loosen the fit in the case of any any weight loss or gain. Once all 3 slide adjustments are fitted properly, the harness should lay flat against the dog's body, without gaping or drooping. 

When using the front clip, you may note the chest strap will gape as you use the leash to gently guide your dog to turn around. This is normal and does not indicate poor fitting. Although the straps will not loosen on their own, even slight weight loss or gain can cause it to fit tighter or looser around the ribcage, so please periodically check the harness for proper fit.
