Your dog will absolutely love hunting for delicious food bits you've hidden for them in this cute Bumblebee Foraging Mat! Foraging toys stimulate a dog's brain by activating the foraging instincts and engaging all senses at once. These ingenious toys can help to slow down a gobbler and improve digestion, too!
To prepare a mat, smear soft foods on top of, around and under the bumblebees' wings, then add texture and taste by hiding berries, bits of veg, crunchy treats, etc. (freeze it for an even longer-lasting treat). The bottom has suction cups, so the mat can be suctioned to the tub or shower wall for an easier bath time experience for you and your dog. Overlapping edges are useful for joining multiple mats together for an additional challenge.
We recommend making time every day for interactive play. Playing together reinforces the special bond you share and provides your dog with the vital stimulation and exercise they need!
If you notice your pup starting to chew on any parts of the toy, rather than foraging for food, please gently redirect them back to licking and foraging. A simply "Uh oh" can interrupt this without scaring your dog. Praise them when they go back to foraging! Please remove any toy if you notice sizable pieces breaking off to avoid ingestion.

All WTE toys we carry will stand up to endless licking and a lot of nibbling but are not meant for prolonged super-chewing sessions. These types of fillable toys perform even better when filled and then frozen. Dogs should be monitored while working on these toys and when empty, the toy should be removed and put out of reach.
